While fervently seeking all the best in collab culture, we stumbled across menswear line Arbitrage’s collaboration with designers Dee & Ricky. If those names aren’t ringing any bells, don’t worry, they will soon.

Dee & Ricky’s eclectic line features all kinds of LEGO-inspired jewelry, which has earned them quite a bit of favor among pop-fashion enthusiasts like Pharrell Williams and Kanye West. You may also recall their highly memorable range of LEGO accessories for Marc by Marc Jacobs’ S/S 08 collection and their most recent stint with Casio’s G-Shock. Arbitrage, a menswear favorite available at Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Ave, has collaborated with non-profits including Charity: water and Movember. This project, however, marks their first artistic endeavor.

Arbitrage has perked up their classic oxfords with Dee & Ricky’s signature LEGO heart, a clever move considering that when it comes to menswear, a quirky accent makes all the difference in distinguishing the Hugo Boss’s from the John Varvatos’s.

Both lines are founded by designers under the age of 25. So it’s no mistake that they would employ a bit of ’80s nostalgia in order to develop a distinct signature given the expanding demographic of young professionals familiar with memorabilia from that era. Joining forces and branching out is a smart move for upstarts today and we’re happy to see the new generation learning how to play the game. Available at from $124 to $148 for hooded styles.
