Nokia x Yahoo

Anyone with even one eye on technology can clearly see that Google dominates the search engine field. We say, “google it” more times a day than we would like to admit. But competition is on its way in the form of a collaboration between Yahoo and Nokia. Nokia’s Ovi phone will be operating Yahoo maps while Yahoo provides Ovi phones with e-mail and instant messaging platforms. The partnership will expand both brands’ presence and possibly steer more than a few customers away from Google. And given that Nokia has a solid track record of producing quality mobile phones, this feet shouldn’t be hard for them to accomplish. Global availability is expected in 2011 but we’re betting it’ll take more than a little competition to take down the behemoth. Not sure? Google it.

Etc…
